Anyway, first of all, let's get today's update log out of the way.
Content
- Added 2 Voyeur scenes to Carrie's mansion
- They are random, and won't always be there when entering.
- Added new girl to carries Mansion, currently only meet able at the bridge outside the mansion.
- Added new small area. Currently not much happens there, more will be added later.
- Added new encounter with Jane and Sifael.
- Added the museum workers that will hang paintings in the museum. (Not sure if they were mentioned earlier so saying it now)
- Do all sex scenes function properly? (No dreaded black screen after scene? :P)
That's the log out of the way.
Now, for the new release.
I'd like to point out that there are a few things still fucked.
I have yet to find a fix for suddenly being unable to summon, the income system has not been tweaked. Sorry, I think the next few releases will be more fix and tweak based than content based.
Now, for things I'd like to know from you guys, as some changes have been made, so please focus on:
- Are there any in between map issues? When going from one map to another, or getting teleported, do they fuck up?
- Is the summoning system more ballanced? Too OP? Too weak?
- Does the new picture system work for the castle? (Casino questline, 3 pictures currently available all currently found with Jane and Sifael)
- Quest issues with Oni Oni onsen? (Can be found east of Fuar)
Any other bugs are obviously also taken seriously, but these are the things I suspect may have a few issues.

I found some problems with the new content. After the scene with the new girl at carrie's mansion there is a black screen.
ReplyDeleteThe quest at the onsen is totally buggy. After giving the bottles to the ogre you end up on a screen with a tent and can't move; teleporting will help.
When you revisit the onsen there is a second ogre. When leaving and trying to reenter you get to a forest map and can't move.
Will we see more of the daughter?
Fixed the scene with the black screen, and fixed a good amount of instances of fuck ups with Oni Oni onsen, but I'm not sure I fixed the exact one with the bottles. Can you tell me where the oni is in the map when you encounter this bug?
DeleteAbout the daughter, I think so, but it is Mugginns questline, so I can't promise anything. I allowed him to do this so I won't decide how this one ends :P
About Red(the daughter), I do hope to do more with her but it's entirely dependent on there being a suitable region for the next encounter. I have plans for her but at the moment we don't have any map that work with her story.
DeleteAnd about the Onsen being buggy as hell, turns out Crouler didn't add all the content I made(which is understandable since he's pressed for time) and its causing trouble. Can you post a pic of where the two ogres are please?
have to look if I can reproduce the bug, but one ogre was before the desk and the other was standing at the position where you first talk with him.

or that he himself is required to pay salarys for other soldiers he gains with the exception of those soldiers left by the queen it should gause quit the dent in income nor would the player in no time at all be able to gains millions

Some players have gotten several millions in just a few hours so I really need to nerf the income xDNo matter what buildings and other outcomes are, even if some things were more expensive, all items in the game would be cheap as hell if the current income wasn't nerfed.

Deletei am able to attain 3 millions with in on houer if the divine where only to be pay for his troops the amount of income would me far less in my opinion a divine should be able to hire his own troops within the barracks itself
also i dont count the standart crew recruiting option along
but if the divine is able to recruit his own soldiers and simply pay for them aswel as when they are sent on patrol to witch costs are bound the income would be lower to

ReplyDeleteIs this still a problem? Sometimes it can be caused by a slow computer, in wich case closing other programs in the background helps. Other times RPGMaker is being a real bitch <.< If it's still a problem, tell me :)
DeleteLove the game so far! Was just able to test 7.3 out, and whenever i go to the Ceeves Ocean Castle and try to enter any door (Castle, Barracks, etc...) it just hangs there. Weird thing is NPCs all around are still moving, it's just you that's stuck there like you're standing in front of the open door.

ReplyDeleteWhich summon level against which level monsters? The level 1 summons won't be able to do anything against larger enemies, so that should be ok, but if it was against low ranked enemies, or if it was high ranked summons it is a problem.

It happens when the NPC leaves the screen, like they're stuck and the event cant continue so you cant do anything.
Deletethe crashes seem to be caused by an events "wait for move's completion" commandline and/or a "set move route" command affecting an event being off screen
Deletehow to fix it... well, deleting the wait-command allows the event to continue but prevents affected event's movement most of the times

DeleteAfter you talk with the High Priest and walk down the stairs this one woman walks to you tells you something and leaves. There the game simply stops accepting commands and you have to restart.

DeleteI can't enter the castle, the door opens for me but i get stuck there, and can you make a resume of all taht was added, more especific the places, cuz i don't quite remember where the brothel and carries mansion and some othe stuff is.

DeleteCarrie's mansion can be found by the southern pier in Rei Long Oak, it's the small boat at the bottom that usually would take you to the shore. Once you can visit her mansion, the option to go there will appear.

- trying to enter anything in the castle breaks the game, you get stuck there.

I can fix all the problems in the onsen if I get my hands on the game, but it also turns out there are problems all over the place. Events that Crouler hasn't touched is acting for some reason. We hope to get everything straightened out soon, and thanks for bringing these bugs to our attention. We can't squish them if no one reports them.
DeleteIn the castle baths, when you go for a swim and talk to Cial, you can't leave the bath afterward.
ReplyDeleteAny chance of adding more save slots? Though I'm not sure which RPG Maker engine each one was using, I've seen quite a few games with 16 save slots (and some even went over 50, though I think that's a little excessive). I think it would help with finding bugs that aren't immediately noticeable (like the black screens after sex scenes), or at least help get people more willing to test for them (they'd be able to have more backups and be able to have less space between them).

after 2 summoning it says that i'm out of mana, even if i'm full, it just lower the sp value but its not summoning anything
An issue I discovered with the Voyeur scenes. If you come in from the outside (where the pool is) and watch the scene, you get stuck where you can't move and need to teleport to regain movement. It looks like it's an issue with after the scene plays your character tries walking to the left and since the npc is blocking him, he won't move any further in any direction.
ReplyDeleteAlso with the Demarcus painting you get from Jane and Sifael, if you view it and select leave after reading the notes, the picture stays up on the screen, with the only way to get out of the picture being to open it again and select "stop looking at the painting".

also, if i may say it, you should put an hint on where those 2 will go.
searching every map for them is kind of annoying, especially if you miss a spot/map and have to complete the circle of maps (everl->rey->fuar) 3 times.
Minor bug, fighting on the branch path to the mine near Fuar gives a black background during the fight. The enemies are visible and it works fine, the background is just black until after the fight.

When an NPC leaves the screen after a conversation with the Divine or other NPC the game gets stuck, it happens the first time you enter the Casinò and also when you talk to the Priest in the Capital's Church.
Another Bug in the capital: when you go into the Castle, and try to enter the first building on the right the Divine gets stuck while others NPC keep moving.

Upade: the "frozen Divine" bug in the Capital's Castle happens with every building, the character freeze and you can't do anything.
