7.4.6.0o release

We are reaching silly numbers for releases, but I hope it won't be too long for a noticeable shift. I did great deal of work with the elven city, adding the different portals for most.

Content:

• Added a scene in the player-castle
• Added all interiors to the elven city
• Added new fighters for the player, though the sprites remain the same.

I added the scene to make up for the fact that little else is usable to the player. You can now go exploring in the city, but it is still empty. That being said, the city being added, with access to the noble's house means that I can start adding the city as a whole, adding life to it and making it a lot less empty. It also means I can start adding more of other quests that rely on that place! So I hope it will mean I can work a lot faster with quite a few quests. 

Finally, the new fighters are of the player as he actually looks and I will be working to add sprites for it later on!

Here we go again and all that. I'm currently working on the player city and I will get to what is after going over what's new in this release.

So, this weeks release was cut short since I need to start doing the elven city to progress the player city. This means that I am working on 2 cities at once. The cities are really difficult to add so I will need to ask for some patience from you since it is unlikely the next few releases will seem very big. I will need to add transfer points and go over the cities to make them seem more lively in general so they don't become ghost towns. 

That being said, do you think that Fuar should have more life added to it? I am unsure myself, to be honest. 

Anyway, what I am trying to say is, the foreseeable future will be me adding the player city and the elven city and possibly doing some other minor things to not get bored by the work lol, so I hope you will bear with me as I add this to the game!

Also, next week I will likely be adding new graphics for the player's fighters, so look forward to that!

That's pretty much it. This week I was pretty satisfied with what I added. Adding the player city is difficult, but I really like how it looks, so adding it is very rewarding! Hope you all agree, since there is a lot more to come with the player city.

Anyway, I just got the new artwork shown to me and it is close to being finished. It looks amazing so I can't wait for it to be in the game! Thank you very much to our patrons for allowing us to add these things to AloneXP!

A new release is out. This time we are focusing on the player city, so I believe everything is bound to go wrong lol. Hope no major issues have been added, though I have learned from experience that it is unlikely to be smooth lol

7.4.6.0j - A new release

So, I managed to do enough work on the game to make for a decent release. It has been mainly focused on the hospital. I really want to get to work on filling the noble quarters, making the player city and the elven city soon, but all of those are major projects, so I believe I want to try and tie up some loose ends for quests before, since once I begin doing those large projects, very little will be released as they take a long time to prepare for actual content.

Anyway, content this release will look simple:

• *Spoiler* If you get lost and don't know how to proceed, at a point when a party has been prepared, you need to head to the temple area where someone will seek you out.
• Added new sex scene for the hospital

As mentioned in the last few releases, the plans for the game are pretty much set. Also, the last long *no release* period will hopefully not happen again. Things just did not work out very well. For now, I believe the future will bring back a more stable schedule for the releases.

On delayed releases

So, it has now been 2 weeks since the last release. I did nothing last week, and this week I did not manage to do enough to warrant a release. I will, however, try to start working in smaller bursts. I normally only worked on Saturdays, since that's all I had time for, but I have been able to reschedule my life, so maybe I can do this.

Anyway, I might be able to add more stuff to the game in the next few days, and if that happens, I may add another release.

I am finding it difficult to find the time lately, and I feel terrible about it since I do feel I have a responsibility to deliver more content. I will work as much as I can to maybe release more frequently!

This was just a small update on why there are few updates. Hopefully, I can turn it around and do more.

So, I have come to the conclusion that all that I want in the game has been prepared for or added already. So! This means that I will now go for finishing up the game. That being said, I have no idea how long it will take, but I know I will not add any other things I had planned unless they are prepared for or some such thing. They will instead be moved to a second game if that happens. So that means I will be adding things that are unfinished and not yet added to the game. Only 1 new thing will be made, which will be for the final part of the game unless something turns out impossible without other new maps etc. I want to end this game with a complete product so I will strive to do that.


One thing this means is, I already know what I want of new graphics. So, once we have the funds for creating that, I will close the patreon. It will still take a bit, but it will be soonish. Thank you so much for all of the support on patreon so far! It has been highly appreciated!

There have been many things going on lately, so it has been a while since the last release. Here is a new one for all of you!

AloneXP 7.4.6.0e - release

Another release, though this time it has been delayed and been delayed for me simply not finding the time to post it here, sorry! I have had this release ready since the week after the last release. Instead, however, I have chosen to add more and more every week, so again this release has more content than a normal 1-week release.

Content:

• Added dining at the restaurant in the market - Captial
• Special events can occur, though not always.
• Added a new character to different areas of the game, -Pickpocket
• The pickpocket will steal gold from the player and try to leave. Catch them to get back the gold, either by fighting for them giving up.
• Added various smaller additions.
• Added life to the marketplace in different weather.
• Some other things have been added, but due to how long this release took and how I forgot to keep a log for the release, I am unsure what parts were from older releases and what parts will have been from this release.

Another release! It has been a while since the last one, sorry. I have been working over the entire period so this release does have a bit more than a usual one week release.

Regardless, we all know you want to see the content rather than read about all this other stuff :)

• Fixed Rectory Zana conversation repeat
• Fixed the wayfinders in the capital not being able to go to the docks
• Updated 2 of the sex pictures from the new batch in the market.
• They were the wrong version
• Added smithy and their shop to the market

So, another release is out, but first I need to address some issues with the downloads.

So, some of you have said the links do not work, and others say they do but sometimes and what-not. I suspect that it is something to do with locations, though I am not certain. Perhaps some countries have a ban on Mediafire? Regardless, from next week on, I hope, I will try and have another host on top of MediaFire.

Anyway, for this weeks release

Content:

• Added a new city part to The capital! Try and find it, it is amazing.
• Added 3 stores to the new city part so far (4 if counting a sloppy one).
• Added a sex scene for each of the three owners currently in-game with a different approach to each one.
• Added a runner to the new area so it is connected like the rest of the capital.

Adding a new area is always difficult and so the actual content in them is slow at first, but from here on out, it should be running smoothly in the new one. The actual area is fully fleshed out, though only three interiors have been completely finished, namely the three stores mentioned above. All other stores will be added as we move on. It is the first city part that changes with the weather, too!

Also, it will be the capital's shopping centre so hopefully it will become a lively place. It is already very pretty, so thank Mugginns for that, it is a fantastic new place!

The new sex scenes are all our own original art! So enjoy that, I think Asera did a great job on those!

Anyway, there is much to do with the new release and I still have little time for another week or 2 so I can't promise a release unless I happen to have a bit of spare time.

So, I see a few bug reports here and there. When reporting, make sure to tell me where it is, what it is how it is and what you did. I don't remember every character in the game by name and such, so I need details. I also need to know what is happening and how you got there.

Anyway, the new area.

This area has been ready to implement for a while, but I needed to activate it so it took an extra week, sorry. I managed to add a bit of stuff and I started a quest in there but it is not yet possible to turn it in. 

For next weeks release, I will try and find any game breaking bugs and fix them and then I will work on the casino stuff and the hospital to further make the hospital into what I need it to be for later stuff.

• ·         MAJOR BUG: Fixed a bug where entering the northwesternmost house in the Noble district would Forcefully advance the main quest far ahead if the player had not actually done anything in the main quest. It has now been locked until the player has reached the correct stage of the quest.
• ·         Fixed the dice game in the casino if you didn’t have enough money, that would loop you.
• ·         Fixed a bug where you did not have to find orders in a cave for Michelle to advance the quest.
• ·         Fixed Delangue’s painting number 9, where getting it from Maria, Everlight’s Mayor, would remove it, not give it to the player.
• ·         Fixed Lirella’s wife disappearing after a certain point in Shing’s questline. She never actually disappeared, she just turned invisible. But now she doesn’t lol.
• ·         Fixed the cave after saving Michelle’s sister. It used to keep Lialle and the sister in there, and it would block the exit if the player ever entered after the main event.

Info:

• ·         Regarding spelling errors. They are not a top priority. I am thinking of some sort of system that will allow me to fix it all, but so far I haven’t come up with anything that isn’t “read through it all”. If I find no system making it easier for me, it will likely be the final release of the game that fixes them lol.
• ·         Seems the Carrie mission can mess up when done out of order, as I have some reports of that. I have been unable to find the source of this issue so far.
• ·         I am thinking up a new teleport system that I want to add soon-ish. I will think of a way to have it fix the teleport issues where you can teleport in and out of areas that you shouldn’t.
• ·         All black screens after events that remain are bugs. Please report these so I can fix them. If you experience this, the bug cleanser will fix it, but I would also like to fix it in the actual game.
• ·         There is possibly an event that will reset your sex counter! If anyone notices your sex counter going back to 1 after a sex event, please report this!

Unknowns:

• ·         The bug where people can’t exit the cave before the Rei-Long Oak desert has still not been found. Someone send me a savegame or something, this bug is stupid and is being a poopy-pants…
• ·         Seems there is a place in the noble district that lets your character go through walls after hitting it. If anyone can tell me where this is let me know so I can fix it. For now, it can be fixed by the bug cleanser.

Hello everyone! <- New intro these, huh? 

I apologize for not releasing anything last week, but there simply was not enough for me to actually give to you all.

This release has been focusing on more of the Jean and friends questline. I only managed to add a bit last week, since there was a large sex scene with multiple choices and such, so a lot of time went into that rather than actual game and gameplay.

I have been enjoying some time of the weekly updates, and it has been nice only working when I really felt like it for a while.

I have added a few new things for this release and I thus release it now rather than next week.

Not much for a month, but I was taking time off so I'm OK with it :P

I will probably soon do a bug fix update and continue to add life to the lifeless area's as well as continuing the Casino stuff and other minor things.
The elven city and the buildable city comes to mind as well, but being alone on the non-map making part, it takes time to add things and I will try and balance my workload to make the releases interesting to make and interesting for you to play.
